Single-component adhesive based on hybrid polymer with modified silanes for sink installation, due to its high initial adhesion strength and non-corrosive properties on metals.
Recommended Uses
It is recommended for bonding and sealing porous and non-porous materials, such as metals, concrete, stone, and ceramics. It features non-sagging properties and cures with atmospheric moisture, turning into a flexible and durable rubber.
Surface Preparation:
The surface must be dry, clean, and free of dust and oils. Remove all material residues, especially those not properly adhered to the layers (sand if necessary). Clean and degrease the surface with isopropyl alcohol and keep it dry before application. Do not use kerosene or gasoline for surface cleaning.
For a better finish, it is recommended to use masking tape on the edges of the joint where product contact is not desired. For applications on substrates other than those mentioned, it is advisable to perform a test to assess the product’s adhesion and compatibility.
Application and Curing Time:
Apply the product to the sink and immediately press it against the stone. Wait 6 hours before moving the sink and 24 hours before using it. After use, leave a small amount of the product above the nozzle to form a plug. When reusing, remove the plug.
Storage:
Once opened, the product should be reused within one week. Clean tools before curing. After curing, the product can only be removed mechanically.
Usage Restrictions:
Not suitable for aquariums. Do not apply on plastics* such as polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon®, acrylic, or polytetrafluoroethylene. Do not use on items that will come into contact with food or be submerged continuously in liquids. Not recommended for glass façades or any structural bonding requiring high strength. Before painting, a preliminary test is recommended. Solvent- and oil-based paints may be harmful to the product. Do not use on expansion joints or building façades.
