General Purpose Hybrid Silicone White 280ml

High-performance sealant for general perimeter sealing with fungicide. Recommended for sealing and bonding aluminum, glass, tile, and sanitary ware. Non-oxidizing metal, concrete, masonry, wood, stone, ceramics, glass, PVC, and most plastics*. It offers excellent adhesion to most surfaces without the need for a primer.

Hybrid Silicone bonds and seals almost all types of materials: aluminum, glass, tile, sanitary ware, concrete, masonry, wood, stone, ceramics, glass, PVC, among others. When applied, the product is white, but after 24 hours, once fully cured, it forms a transparent film that can be painted to match the color of your environment.

Excellent resistance to UV rays and weather conditions.

The surface must be dry, clean, and free from dust and oils. Remove all residue, especially materials that are not well adhered to the surface (sand if necessary). Clean and degrease the surface with isopropyl alcohol and keep it dry before application. Do not use kerosene or gasoline for surface cleaning. For a better finish, it is recommended to use masking tape on the edges of the joint where product contact is not desired.

For applications on substrates other than those mentioned, it is recommended to carry out a test to evaluate the product’s adhesion and compatibility. Apply the product to the desired area and immediately smooth it out. If using masking tape, remove it before a film forms. Clean tools before the product cures. Once cured, it can only be removed mechanically.

Full curing time varies depending on temperature and product thickness at the time of application. On colder and more humid days, full curing may take up to 10 days.

Application temperature: 10°C to 40°C. Avoid contact with water during the first 24 hours.

The applied product thickness should not exceed 8 mm.

The product must be kept in its original packaging and stored in a cool place at a temperature between 5°C and 30°C, protected from direct sunlight and away from heat sources. To avoid contamination of unused product, do not return any leftover material to the original packaging. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Shelf life: 18 months (from the date of manufacture).

Do not use on mirrors or aquariums. Do not apply to plastics made of polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon®, acrylic, or polytetrafluoroethylene. Do not use on materials that will come into contact with food or be submerged continuously in liquids. Do not use on glass façades or for any structural bonding that requires strength. Do not apply to surfaces that release oil, plasticizers, or solvents, such as oil-soaked wood, wet surfaces, or walls with peeling coatings. Before painting, it is recommended to perform a patch test. Solvent- or oil-based paints may damage the product.
