One-component neutral cure silicone sealant recommended for sealing gutters and their joints in general, flashings, roof tiles, and galvanized drip edges. Also indicated as a sealant for joints in air conditioning ducts and industrial ventilation systems. Does not oxidize metals. Features non-sag properties, cures at room temperature, and remains flexible for many years. Resistant to weathering, UV rays, and temperature variations.
Surface Preparation
The surface must be dry, clean, and free of dust and oils. Remove all material residues, especially those not properly adhered to the layers (sand if necessary). Clean and degrease the surface with isopropyl alcohol and keep it dry before application. Do not use kerosene or gasoline to clean the surfaces. For a better finish, it is recommended to use masking tape on the sides of the joint where product contact is not desired. For applications on substrates other than those mentioned, a test is recommended to assess product adhesion and compatibility.
Directions for Use
Apply the product to the desired area and finish immediately. If masking tape is used, remove it before a skin forms. After use, leave a small amount of product above the nozzle to form a plug. When reusing, remove the plug. Once opened, the product should be reused within one week. Clean tools before curing. Once cured, the product can only be removed mechanically.
Limitations
Do not apply in aquariums. Do not apply on plastics made of polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon®, acrylic, or polytetrafluoroethylene. Do not use on parts that will come into contact with food or be continuously immersed in liquids. Do not apply on glass facades or any structural bonding that requires strength.
Not paintable.
Storage
The product must be kept in its original packaging and stored in a cool place at a temperature between 5°C and 30°C, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. To avoid contamination of unused product, do not return any leftover material to the original packaging. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Shelf life (from the manufacturing date): 12 months.
