Single-component hybrid sealant recommended for sealing and bonding of precast elements, metal panels, general joints in concrete, steel, aluminum, wood, glass, fiberglass, and ceramics, as well as for caulking and sealing. Features non-sag properties and cures with atmospheric moisture, turning into a flexible and durable rubber. Once cured, it can be painted. Offers excellent resistance to UV rays and weather conditions.

When sealing spaces require greater coverage or resistance to possible movements, PU40 Unipega sealant is the ideal product, as it caulks and seals precisely and can be painted after drying. Recommended for sealing movement joints, building façades, and sealing galvanized steel, masonry, and other porous and non-porous substrates.
Apply the product to the desired area and finish immediately. If using adhesive tape, remove it before a film forms. After use, leave a small amount of product above the nozzle to form a plug. When reusing, remove the plug. Once opened, the product can be reused within one week. Clean tools before curing. Once cured, the product can only be removed mechanically.
APPLICATION IN MOVEMENT JOINTS:
Install the backing rod or joint filler, support blocks, spacers, and adhesive tapes. Protect adjacent areas to the joints with adhesive tape for a better finish. Apply the product to the desired area with constant pressure. Immediately after application, tool the joint with light pressure to spread the product onto the backing and joint surfaces. Remove the adhesive tape as soon as the bead is tooled. After use, leave a small amount of product above the nozzle to form a plug. When reusing, remove the plug. Once opened, reuse the product within one week. Clean tools before curing. Once cured, the product can only be removed mechanically.
