Unipega Thread Sealing Tape, produced from laminated and expanded PTFE, was developed to promote the sealing of threaded joints (PVC, CPVC or metal) in cold and hot water installations, eliminating existing gaps between connections.
The surface must be previously clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt or contaminants, so as not to affect the performance of the product. Various factors in the application may affect the performance of the product. We recommend that it be tested in advance under conditions similar to the application.
The product must be kept in its original packaging and stored in a cool place at a temperature below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Shelf life (from the date of manufacture): 36 months.
