Single-component hybrid adhesive recommended for bonding and sealing porous and non-porous materials such as metals, concrete, stone, ceramics, glass, polycarbonate, and PVC. Due to its high initial adhesion strength, it is suitable for mirror mounting and sink bonding. It features non-sagging properties and cures with atmospheric moisture, transforming into a flexible and durable rubber.
Surface Preparation:
The surface must be clean and free of dust and oils. Remove all material residues, especially those not properly adhered to the layers (sand if necessary). Clean and degrease the surface with isopropyl alcohol and keep it dry before application. Do not use kerosene or gasoline to clean the surfaces. For a better finish, it is recommended to use masking tape on the sides of the joint where product contact is not desired. For applications on substrates other than those mentioned, it is advisable to perform a test to evaluate the adhesion and compatibility of the product.
Application and Curing Time:
GENERAL BONDING: Apply the product to the desired area and immediately finish. For bonding very heavy parts, use shims. If using masking tape, remove it before a skin forms.
MIRROR INSTALLATION: Check the substrate condition (wall, tile, wood, etc.), which must be clean and level. Apply double-sided tape to the mirror. Apply the product in vertical beads 10mm wide and 6mm high as shown in the figure. Join the surfaces maintaining a minimum distance of 3mm between the mirror and the substrate and do not exceed 5 minutes before bonding. Verify the mirror positioning before joining to the substrate, as the tape does not allow repositioning. Use support shims during mirror installation to assist initial fixing. Remove shims at least 6 hours after installation. Note: Installation must follow the recommendations of the ABNT NBR 15198 standard – SILVERED MIRROR – PROCESSING AND INSTALLATION.
SINK INSTALLATION: Apply the product to the sink and immediately press it against the stone. Wait 6 hours before moving the sink and 24 hours before using it. After use, leave a small amount of product at the nozzle tip to form a plug. For reuse, remove the plug. Once opened, the product should be reused within one week. Clean tools before curing. After curing, the product can only be removed mechanically.
Storage:
The product should be kept in its original packaging and stored in a cool place at temperatures between 5 and 30°C, protected from direct sunlight and away from heat sources. To avoid contamination of unused product, do not return any leftover material to its original container. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Shelf life (from the date of manufacture): 12 months.
Usage Restrictions:
Not suitable for aquariums. Do not apply on plastics* based on polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon®, acrylic, or polytetrafluoroethylene. Do not use on items that will come into contact with food or be continuously immersed in liquids. Not suitable for glass facades or any structural bonding requiring high strength. Before painting, a preliminary test is recommended. Solvent- and oil-based paints may damage the product. Do not use on expansion joints or building facades.
